I help authors cut through the noise on Amazon, Goodreads, and beyond, so the right readers discover your book and your work reaches the audience it was written for.
"The best book in the world means nothing if no one can find it. My work is making sure yours gets found."
I'm Elena Katz, a book marketing and discoverability specialist who works closely with authors to solve one specific problem: visibility. Whether you're a debut novelist or releasing your fifth title, I bring the same diagnostic precision and strategic depth to every engagement.
My approach is never template driven. I study your book, your genre, your ideal reader, and your current footprint on Amazon and Goodreads, then build a positioning strategy rooted in what is actually holding your discovery back.
Every service I offer is built around a single mission: getting the right readers to find your book and compelling them to buy.
I engineer your book's full Amazon presence so the algorithm actively works for you, from keyword architecture to product page.
Goodreads is where serious readers live. I place your book in front of them through profile work and review growth.
Scroll stopping visual content that captures your book's essence and moves audiences from curious to clicking.
I build the digital presence that keeps your book visible between launch cycles and grows your readership over time.
A book launch is a system, not an event. I build yours from pre-launch momentum through post-launch sustain.
Your name is your brand. I help you define and project an author identity that attracts loyal readers.
Every engagement begins with deep research into where your book stands today and ends with a measurable lift in visibility and reader reach.
Start the ConversationI audit your book's current Amazon and Goodreads presence, categories, keywords, description, and reviews, and identify every gap that is costing you readers.
I build a tailored service recommendation based on what your book specifically needs, never a bundled package padded with services you don't require.
Every deliverable arrives fully built, exact copy, precise settings, clear step-by-step instructions, so you can put it in place yourself with full control of your own accounts throughout.
Once work is complete, I walk you through what was implemented, why it matters, and what you can expect to see.
Elena completely transformed how my book shows up on Amazon. Within weeks my category ranking improved and I started seeing organic sales I'd never experienced before.
I had tried to optimize my Goodreads page myself for months with no results. Elena did more in two weeks than I'd managed in a year.
Whether you're preparing to launch or ready to build a long term discoverability strategy, I'd like to hear about your book.
Katz Book Marketing was built on a simple belief: great writing should never go unread for lack of the right strategy.
I'm Elena Katz, the founder of Katz Book Marketing. I started this work after watching talented authors struggle to find readers while books with bigger marketing budgets dominated the charts, even when the writing itself was nowhere near as strong.
The problem was rarely the writing. It was access, access to the right strategies, the right platforms, and the kind of attention that algorithms reward. I built Katz Book Marketing to close that gap for authors who never got the chance to compete on a level playing field.
Today, I work directly with authors across literary fiction, self-help, historical fiction, romance, cozy mystery, and academic nonfiction. Every engagement is personalized, and every deliverable arrives fully built and ready to implement, never a generic template you have to adapt yourself.
"The best book in the world means nothing if no one can find it. My work is making sure yours gets found."
"Every great book deserves a great audience. My job is to build the bridge between the two."
Every campaign starts with the book itself. I read it, understand it, and build marketing that reflects what makes it genuinely worth reading.
Intuition matters, but numbers matter more. Every decision is backed by real performance data, market research, and genre specific insight.
Your voice, your brand, your goals. I work as an extension of your own efforts, not a vendor running a template campaign.
A single launch is a moment. A career is a body of work. I build strategies that serve your book today and your author brand for years to come.
Tell me about your book and I'll put together a strategy built specifically for your story.
Every service is designed around one goal: connecting your book with the readers who will genuinely love it.
Every package is built around the same six disciplines. Pick the level of support that matches where your book is right now.

Elena completely transformed how my book shows up on Amazon. Within weeks my category ranking improved dramatically and I started seeing organic sales I'd never experienced before. The depth of her keyword research alone was worth every penny.
I had tried to optimize my Goodreads page myself for months with no results. Elena did more in two weeks than I'd managed in a year. My "Want to Read" numbers jumped significantly and I started getting genuine reviews from readers I'd never reached before.
Working with Elena through Katz Book Marketing was a turning point for my debut novel. Her description rewrite alone changed everything, it finally communicated what my book actually is. The A+ Content she created looks more professional than books with major publishers.
Elena doesn't just deliver a service, she delivers results. My book went from invisible to consistently ranking in its top Amazon categories. What impressed me most was that she genuinely understood my subject matter and spoke to the right readers.

To deliver effective work, I rely on you to provide accurate information about your book, respond to requests for materials or approval in a timely manner, and implement the guidance provided where the deliverable requires action on your end.
Payment terms are agreed individually for each project before work begins, based on the specific arrangement discussed with each client. There is no fixed standard deposit amount.
Work that has been completed and approved is non-refundable. If a client chooses to discontinue a project mid-way, refunds are not issued for work already completed.
